Surgeons who have agreed to work in conjunction with MSI to date are:
David L. Galbut, MD
Cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery
Dr. Galbut has over 25 years of surgical experience. He pioneered the use of internal mammary artery grafts, and is highly experienced in the management of adult heart valve and complex cases. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.
Harris Gellman, MD
Elbow, forearm, wrist, and hand surgery
Dr. Gellman has over 25 years experience in surgery of the hand and lower arm, with a particular emphasis on complex fractures and joint injuries, nerve disorders, congenital anomalies, and reconstruction following trauma. He is the former co-chief of hand surgery at the University of Miami and a graduate of Temple University School of Medicine.
Rolando Garcia, MD, MPH
Spine surgery
Dr. Garcia has 12 years experience as a spine surgeon. He was part of the original FDA trials for artificial lumbar risk replacement and the 4th person in North America to perform this technique. Dr. Garcia has special interest in spine stabilization and endoscopic discectomy. He is a graduate of Tulane University.
Jose E. Jaen, MD
Knee surgery
Dr. Jaen has over 20 years experience in knee arthroscopy and total knee replacement. He is a graduate of the University of Panama. Dr. Jaen completed surgical training at the Gorgas US Army Hospital and Salt Lake City Knee and Sports Medicine Hospital.
Robert C. Klapper, MD
Joint replacement surgery
Dr. Klapper has over 20 years experience as an orthopedic surgeon. He is director of joint replacement and chief of the Division of Orthopedics at the Cedars-Sinai Orthopaedic Center in Los Angeles and a graduate of the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Columbia University. He was a consultant to the television show “ER.”
Arnon Krongrad, MD
Laparoscopic radical prostatectomy
Dr. Krongrad has over 25 years experience as a prostate surgeon. In 1999, Dr. Krongrad introduced robot-assisted, laparoscopic radical prostatectomy to the United States. He is a graduate of the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Columbia University.
Manny Mobile, MD™
Special Air Surgeon
Dr. Mobile has practiced surgery from the spas of Asclepius to the Australian bush. He studied with Sushruta, with Giovanni Battista Morgagni, and with modern surgeon-innovators like Harvey Cushing and William Osler. Dr. Mobile teaches, supports, and inspires others, while helping patients and payers to preserve choice and quality.
Daniel Weingrad, MD
Breast cancer surgery
Dr. Weingrad is a surgical oncologist with special interest in breast cancer. He is a graduate of Harvard and Columbia universities and is a former fellow in surgical oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Institute.
Henry Wodnicki, MD
Laparoscopic colectomy and general surgery
Dr. Wodnicki has over 20 years experience as a laparoscopic and colorectal surgeon. He graduated from the combined Biomedical Program at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Albany Medical College.
Robert Zann, MD
Hip and knee replacement
Dr. Zann is a pioneer of minimally invasive joint replacement. He has over 25 years of surgical experience. Dr. Zann graduated from the Wayne State University School of Medicine and received specialized training at the University of Southern California.
