The multinational executives of Mobile Surgery International are highly trained physicians, surgeons, and business administrators. Each has many years of professional experience.

Arnon Krongrad, MD
Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, and Medical Director
Dr. Krongrad is Founder and Medical Director of the Krongrad Institute for Minimally Invasive Prostate Surgery; he has been performing surgery for 25 years. He is Co-Founder and Medical Director of the not-for-profit Prostate Cancer International, principal investigator of a surgical trial for severe chronic prostatitis, and author of Behind the Mask, an essay series published by the Miami Herald.
Robert Rodriguez, BSN, MBA
Business Development Officer
A former surgical intensive care nurse, Mr. Rodriguez brings hands-on experience in payer relations, surgical travel services, continuing surgeon education, and the marketing and distribution of surgical devices in the US, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Mr. Rodriguez identifies markets, develops corporate strategy and product lines, and builds payer and host facility relationships.
Angela Jenkins
Business Operations Manager
Angela Jenkins, a paralegal, has operated businesses for over 30 years. She is active in the administration of the not-for-profit Prostate Cancer International. Mrs. Jenkins oversees contracting, financial operations, risk management, and regulatory affairs.
Manuel Vila, MD
Technical Operations Manager
Dr. Vila is a 1985 graduate of the San Pedro de Macorix Escuela de Medicina in the Dominican Republic. He has 25 years of hands-on general, thoracic, urological, gynecological, and orthopedic surgical experience. Dr. Vila sources and coordinates the provision of assisting operative personnel and surgical equipment and supplies to the surgical teams.
Ilan Gruenwald, MD
Operations Director, Israel
Dr. Gruenwald is a graduate of Tel Aviv University’s Sackler Faculty of Medicine and completed a fellowship in urology of the St George’s Hospital in London. He is Director of the Israeli National Continence Centre.
Larissa Vitalyevna
Operations Director, Eastern Europe
Larissa Vitalyevna has worked in business development and sales. She is a Ukrainian native and champion swimmer who spent many of her early years in Moscow and Kaliningrad. She is based in Miami and maintains extensive contacts in Ukraine and Russia.
Shenghan Lai, MD, PhD
Director of Clinical and Outcomes Data
Dr. Lai is an epidemiologist and biostatistician who graduated from the Peking Union Medical College. He is a visiting professor at the Academy of Preventive Medicine in Beijing and has interest in cardiovascular disease and cancer.
Ruth Krongrad
Director of Client Relations
Ruth Krongrad is a hands-on provider relations expert who understands how physicans and surgeons think, what patients want, how hospitals operate, and what payers and their representatives need. She coordinates services to and for all clients. Ms. Krongrad is a graduate of the Hebrew University.
