Mobile Surgery International has collaborated with The Krongrad Institute to produce El Cáncer de Próstata a clinically oriented web site designed for Spanish-speaking patients interested in minimally invasive prostate surgery. The new site features:
- A general summary
- Frequent Questions (from “What is PSA?” to “Can nerves be spared?”)
- Patients Speak (in which patients describe their actions and outcomes)
- Location and contact information
- An easy-to-read, downloadable brochure
Mobile Surgery International aims to preserve quality and choice as it works with patients and payers to contain cost. To do this we rely upon Centers of Excellence with Global Convenience™ (in Trinidad, Florida, Mexico, and Kansas) and on appropriate patient selection, which includes informed decision making by the patients. The education materials that we produce are intended to help patients to make such informed decisions.
